It collaborates with government systems and has partnered with over 300 organizations through its grants initiative to strengthen social change efforts across the country
Mati Carbon, founded in 2022 in Houston and structured as a public-benefit nonprofit, pioneered scalable enhanced rock weathering to sequester carbon while bolstering soil health. Currently active in India, Zambia, and Tanzania, it has partnered with over 12,000 smallholder farmers and deployed 130,000 tons of basalt dust, and aims to engage 30,000 farmers by the end of 2025
