Retired on 31 January 2021 as an IAS Officer in the rank of Secretary to the Government of
West Bengal. Total 35 years and a half in the civil service, initially as a WBCS (Executive)
Officer and thereafter as an IAS Officer. Post-retirement experience in several development
domains including DRR, Climate Action, Digital Literacy, Livelihoods, Child Protection, Child
Development as researcher/ documentation professional. Also leading multiple private
companies working in the field of sustainable development. Presently Chairman and
